The man took a step forward, and Gu Tiantian stepped back again.
But with nowhere left to retreat, she could only lean her back against the car door, tilting her body backward.
The man watched, suddenly let out a soft laugh.
"Is this playing hard to get?"
Gu Tiantian, already on edge, never expected to suddenly hear such words from the man.

If she were really playing hard to get, there’d be no one left in the world refusing anyone.
But, pressured by the man’s imposing presence, Gu Tiantian took a deep breath, opened her mouth, and only after a while did she find her voice.
"I... I really didn’t mean that."
Before the man could speak, Gu Tiantian suddenly realized she was supposed to be adopting a soft approach.
