Chapter 15 - 1st floor of the Abyss Tower
Immediately, the two of us dressed. Althea wore a stunning crimson dress that clung to her curves, flowing like liquid fire around her body. Her icy blue hair cascaded down her back, catching the morning sunlight with an ethereal glow. Despite her cold personality, there was no denying her divine allure.
As for me, I threw on a plain white T-shirt and a pair of black pants. Nothing fancy. I looked incredibly average—at least on the surface. But my piercing green eyes gave me some charm beneath the mundane exterior.
Althea said nothing as we stepped outside. Cars Drove outside People occasionally glanced our way,
Their eyes lingering a bit longer than normal. Perhaps it was her beauty. Or maybe, deep down, they sensed something unusual about the pair of us. Still, she refused to enter my soul today.
"It’s boring in there," she said bluntly.
I sighed. Of course, she wouldn’t make this easy.
We arrived at the same quiet location where we had previously met Clara. There she stood—elegant and composed—dressed in a light yellow T-shirt that complemented her silver hair. Her A-ranked sword was
sheathed at her waist, a weapon atleast C ranked of Accessories B-C rank, each pulsing faintly with contained power. Her perfume was sweet, subtle, yet distinct. Combined with Althea’s own naturally cold, divine scent, the two created a silent battlefield of fragrances as we approached.
Clara’s golden eyes observed us with her usual unreadable expression. She gave a brief wave, nonchalant as ever. Without a word, she summoned a mask—elegant, white, and shaped to only conceal the top half of her face. Recognizing that we were now in a relatively secluded area, I summoned my clone.
