Despite being one of the top cadets in the academy, she couldn’t be recruited to the player’s party. And she most definitely couldn’t be romanced.
In fact, if the player tried to recruit her too many times and annoyed her too much, she’d just kill them — no hesitation, no emotion. Just a swift sword strike and it was Game Over.
Under normal circumstances, nobody would have been allowed to live like that.
Such willful behaviour would lead to expulsion or worse, but not for her.
Her grandfather was Principal Greyfax, and his fatal flaw was being too damn tolerant, especially for those deemed exceptionally talented.

The lengths Yuna’s talent was legendary and shrouded in mystery. Even during her duel with the protagonist, she only exchanged a few blows before forfeiting, citing "boredom."

This was Yuna’s true nature
