Chapter 60: Glorious Achievement Scavenger!
Ironblood Beastmaster’s plan had been solid. But reality? Reality delivered a swift and brutal blow.
The moment Ironblood Beastmaster hit the ground, Ironblood Falcon cried out—Ryan’s Judgment landed clean, stripping 200 health and sending him crashing down like a stone.
It only took a few regular swings for Ironblood Falcon’s health to plummet. The extra holy damage from the Radiant Light enchantment wasn’t helping him either—it only made things worse.
Now, Ryan was left standing with roughly 200 health. On the enemy side, a Rogue and a Warlock still stood at full strength. His only ally, a Warrior, was barely hanging on at half health.
But in both camps, there was the same thought.
’Victory is ours!’
The Warlock, Ironblood Demon, turned and began to flee, flinging spells behind him as he ran. Small bursts of damage chipped away at their already fragile health pools. His summoned imp scampered around, hurling tiny fireballs at Ryan like an annoying wasp that wouldn’t quit.
Meanwhile, Ironblood Dagger, the Rogue, knew better than to face a heavily armored Paladin head-on. Instead, he circled around constantly, trying to shake combat and vanish into stealth.
Ryan saw through the tactic. A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as he slowly began casting Radiant Light. Just as he predicted, Ironblood Dagger darted in, hoping to interrupt the channeling.
Across the field, Moonlight Beauty disengaged from the fight entirely. She didn’t chase or attack. Instead, she pulled food from her pack, sat down, and began eating to restore health.
The sight of it made Ironblood Demon furious.
He barked orders at his imp, sending it toward Moonlight Beauty to harass her and stop her from healing up comfortably.
