Ryan stepped out of the cabin, a strange mix of joy and resignation stirring inside him. His mind was already shifting gears, ready to focus on the next step ahead.
He opened his character attributes. A small icon flashed beside the experience bar—he had enough to level up. His current XP stood at 25,240 out of 8,000—more than triple what was needed to advance from Level 1 to 2.
A small plus sign blinked invitingly. Ryan tapped it. Right at that moment, a golden light burst over his body.
