She was about to say something but before she could, the guard grabbed her arm and dragged her inside the compound, leaving her stunned and confused.
"Where are you taking me?" she asked, trying to wriggle free from his grasp.
The guard ignored her and continued to drag her deeper into the compound. She could see the other servants and guards staring at her with curiosity and confusion, some even with disgust and disdain.
She was pulled into a room, and the guard closed the door behind him, his grip on her arm still tight, it seemed they had some grudges.
"What do you think you’re doing?" she demanded, trying to sound authoritative.
The guard let out a sinister laugh, his eyes roaming over her body with hunger.
"You’re here to become a concubine, right? Well, you have to prove yourself worthy first," he said, licking his lips.
She could feel a chill run down her spine as she realized what he was implying.
"What? No! I’m here for Ye Chen, not you!" she protested, trying to push him away.
The guard sneered, his grip on her tightening.
"You think you’re worthy of Young Master? You? You’re just a whore. You need to prove yourself to me first," he said.
She could see the lust in his eyes, and she knew that she was in trouble.
