Chapter 1289: Casteel. Wenrii. Udone. [Bonus]

"Casteel. Udone. Wenrii. You will be leading this battle. I don’t think I have to tell you again what my master wants. If you succeed, you’ll be rewarded. If you fail, well... your chances of getting into the good graces of the Lineage Head will be dashed. Forever."

Thorak spoke in a low tone.

Across from him, familiar figures with the same blackened, obsidian skin stood across from him, the very same complex mesh of Runes from what looked like elevated scarred whip marks of grey lacerating across their bodies.

The Obsithar Clan wasn’t a particularly large Clan in the Sector, but they were known for their raw power and defenses. There was quite a decent percentage of them in the Sanctum, though not all were members of the Rhino Lineage.

It was well known that they would likely be at least a mid-tier power if they could fix their population issues. But much like the Mist Race of the Milky Way, they had their own problems.

It was just that while the Mist Race tended to birth women, making it difficult for them to have enough population balance for future generations, the Obsithar had the opposite problem, having about 60% of their babies come out as males.

This tweak in their Genes didn’t come without benefits, though. Their power, their strength, their durability, their stamina... they all tended to be off the charts, even amongst their women.

Of the three Thorak was looking at right now, the only woman amongst them was Wenrii. But she still had the same large, stocky build. Even her breasts looked more akin to thick steel bowls than the soft mounds of flesh they should have been, the wires of her chest muscles bulging out more than any softness would have.

Casteel and Udone were larger, but still barely only a half a head taller. There didn’t seem to be any enormous difference between them all at all.
