There was a flicker in Sylas’ eyes. He could feel that his True Pride Seed seemed to like this Glassborn Cryst Emperor Egg a great deal. It was like they came from the same root.
He could understand that quite easily. His Glassvolt Marquis Gene Class was heavily tied to matters of Pride. In fact, the way his Glassvolt Throne worked, it seemed to be a great matter of Pride as well.
Right now, his True Pride Seed synergized very well with his Runeweaver Profession. And though Sylas hadn’t tested it, he bet that it synergized with his Vipermancy Profession as well—especially his Beast Totem.
Those matters related to suppression, control, and things of the like all seemed to be things that his True Pride Seed actively wanted.
As the changes were occurring within Sylas, his gaze couldn’t help but sharpen.
His True Pride Seed took the initiative to show and display its might because his affinity with it was so strong, but who was to say that his other Seeds didn’t have such abilities as well, and he had just paid too little attention?
For example, Gluttony… would it synergize with [Primal Gut]? Would he be able to swallow and digest even more powerful strains of Aether and meat with it?
On a deeper level, would it impact Extricate? After all, the little girl and his Gluttony Seed seemed to love Genes. She had mentioned that if he had had the Madness Key of another Path, he would likely need to “feed” it something else.
But judging by the way that was explained, it was highly unlikely that would still count as “feeding,” and more like “giving.” Maybe a Pride Madness Key would be a lot like his Demonic Will at the start, forcing him to take on quests related to things that triggered his Pride.
Why couldn’t this Gluttony Seed bolster Extricate then?
