"If the historical information I have is correct, there is a stipulation in the Imperial Defense System's protocol—she must listen to the prayers from Levi's descendants here."

The Archbishop hurriedly said, "Yes, Director Eno, you are right, there seems to be such information."

Director Eno had already walked up to the Archbishop.

He held his hands in the pockets of his lab coat, looking at the Archbishop, and spoke softly:

"Do you know why our Emperor killed your sister and replaced the Archbishop with you?"

"It's certainly not because your technical skills excite him... though there's undeniably an element of that too."

"It's because you lack talent. Your sister had become a constraint on imperial power because she held the Empire's most powerful and core secrets. But when it came to you, you gave those up, dedicating all your thoughts to curry favor with our Emperor, causing certain mechanisms of the Empire to directly fail."

"So, the Empire has reached this point today, and you actually bear a small part of the responsibility."

The Archbishop's face, covered in makeup, turned a bit pale.

"Oh, this, but this..."

"Your soul is mediocre and filthy," Director Eno said, "Of course, I have no malice towards you. I don't mind you continuing as the Archbishop. Our Emperor doesn't want to participate in the current political events, so you needn't think of getting shelter from the Emperor. You now, must listen to me."

"Director Eno, what happened?"

"A coup."

"A coup!"

"A coup against the Sherman family, unrelated to the Emperor," Director Eno smiled and said, "Now, you can take out your staff, follow my instructions, and activate the Emperor Guard System to a state where it can interact with the outside world."

"I, I don't know how..."

"It's very simple," Director Eno said, "According to my instructions, pick up the staff, walk to the corner beside the goddess projection, and touch the bottom of the pillar with the staff... You're walking too slowly, lift her up."

Four guards immediately lifted the Archbishop and rushed towards the pillar.

Director Eno took out a small yellowed booklet, looked at the information on it, and spoke four points in sequence.

As the Archbishop held up her staff, trembling as she touched the four pillars, she found four hidden raised holes and inserted the staff into each in turn, activating the patterns at different heights on the staff.

After completing the four points, Director Eno had already stood in front of the goddess statue and closed the booklet in his hand.

The simulated projection of the Emperor Guard System slowly opened its eyes, a pair of deep pupils flickering with faint light, its voice sounded, gentle and with a hint of ethereal quality.

"Levi's descendants?"

The Archbishop looked stunned.

She looked at the staff in her hand and then at the Emperor Guard System that seemed to have come alive, her mouth twitching uncontrollably.

Director Eno squinted and smiled.

All the information is hidden in the library that only the Emperor and each's Dimension Ascension Laboratory director can enter.

And even though the Emperor could no longer summon the Emperor Guard System, he still refused to go in and study.

"Yes, I am a descendant of the great founding Emperor Levi."

Director Eno seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and quickly said:

"I realize you may have some issues now, but the Emperor Guard System, I hope you can give me some response as this country is brewing a storm. If the storm cannot be guided correctly, it will directly tear this ancient Empire apart.

"I know, you might be tired of this country.

"You have protected this country for tens of thousands of Galaxy years. For the universe, it's not a notable span of time, but for us as Thought Bodies, using primitive humans as samples, it's indeed an incredibly long time.

"You have witnessed the country in its brutish form, witnessed its unreasonable side, and witnessed its oppression of countless people.

"I don't know how deeply the malice inherent in human nature has hurt you, but I know we need to make some changes.

"If possible, I hope you can communicate directly with me, like a complete human, with noble character and gentle nature as depicted in royal history books, engage in a conversation with me.

"After the Emperor has summoned you several times without a response, I have studied all related materials. I feel that we have lost your trust; we have lost your acknowledgment.

"Now I only have about half an hour, and I hope within this half hour, we can achieve effective communication. Otherwise, warships will rush down and either take me away or destroy me.

"But I know, you are the only one capable of saving this country.

"I am willing to bear all consequences, even if after today, I am punished, face extreme punishment, lose my freedom for life, and lose everything, I am willing to endure it.
