Yang Ming was somewhat confused.

Lyu reduced his projection to the size of a palm and flew in front of Yang Ming, quickly opening a battlefield overview.

"Boss, look. The Mother Worm has always been on the edge of the battlefield, maintaining enough troops around it; this is to guard against a surprise attack.

"This batch of the insect swarm looks terrifying in number, but it might actually just be cannon fodder to deplete the Empire’s forces, with a large number of high-rank digging insects hidden beside the Mother Worm.

"Additionally, there’s the state of the Imperial Dreadnought. Three consecutive shots have already pushed it to its limit, just enough to clear twelve Fake Mother Insects, and then it enters a longer cooldown phase..."

Yang Ming nodded, "No need to worry. Whatever we can think of, the old guys at the Imperial Military Department will have thought of as well; there are bound to be ambushes around. I’m more worried about another issue right now."

"Even if this batch of the insect swarm is cannon fodder, their numbers are too great, and the destructive power of the Sixth-Rank adult insects is too strong."

Yang Ming drew a line:

"Look, the defense line has begun to synchronously retreat; this will put immense pressure on the soldiers.

"The Imperial Fleet must form another close-range defense line near the Shield Ship’s protective line to prevent the fleet from being directly overrun by the insect swarm."
