"If I told you the secret of my bag, would you care to stay and help me?" Di Fuyi quickly added.
Gu Xijiu stopped abruptly. "Tell me first, and then I will decide," she answered without looking back at him.
As offered, Di Fuyi was ready to tell her what she wanted to know. "The bag has always been around. I do not remember who it belonged to in the first place. You were right. The bag can only contain non-living items, but there is an exception. Without any breath and consciousness, the being can be contained in the bag for a while."
His explanation was thorough but not entirely convincing. "As far as I am concerned, a living thing can still breathe even without consciousness," Gu Xijiu turned around and said to Di Fuyi.
Di Fuyi revealed a pill to her. "With this, one can mimic death for two hours."
Gu Xijiu finally understood the situation.
"You said that even without my help, you can still take Qianyan out of here. Were you going to feed her the pill so that she could mimic death and fit into your bag?" She finally made sense of the whole situation now.
