Her gaze then fell upon the pair of white gloves on his hands. There was a certain sense of nobility or status that seemed to be attached to those gloves. It appeared to be something that only high-ranking officials would wear. Guan Yaning had worn a pair on his hands too.
Gu Xijiu slightly squinted her eyes to try to study the gloves in more detail. She tried to connect the dots with the information that she had retrieved from all these invaders. According to what she got, these invaders were attacking Tianju Hall, and Guan Yaning just happened to have left the battlefield. He returned to the station because he had to repair his damaged ships; otherwise, he would have returned to the battlefield.
