Entangled with An Evil Lord

The wrist he grabbed seemed to be cold and hard with sharp edges. It almost cut his hand. Instead of grasping Gu Xijiu’s wrist, Zhu Duqing caught a sharp sword! Furthermore, the person who was holding the sword was actually Di Fuyi! Zhu Duqing took two successive steps backward and found that the wizardry barrier had been broken. Meanwhile, Yun Yanli also stumbled and almost fell to the ground at that moment. His handsome face was now green and white. Upon catching his breath, he said, "Di Fuyi, you have not been concentrating on the fight!"

When the two of them were fighting, Yun Yanli was utterly overpowered by Di Fuyi. He had resorted to using his full strength to attack Di Fuyi while risking his defense. He wanted to force Di Fuyi to go on the defensive. However, he did not expect Di Fuyi to suddenly rush out of the wizardry barrier and settle matters with Zhu Duqing.

From his actions, it was evident that even during the battle, he had diverted his attention to Gu Xijiu. Yun Yanli thought that even if he would not be able to defeat him, he could at least give the man a challenge and force him to use all his skills. He had certainly not expected the man to be thinking about other things during a clash with him.

With a pale face, Yun Yanli stood weakly in the barrier. All of a sudden, he vomited a mouthful of blood. The conviction that had always supported him as a mountain collapsed. His body trembled as he said, "Di Fuyi, kill me!"

Di Fuyi did not look at him. Instead, he pulled Gu Xijiu into his arms and asked, "How are you? Have you been hurt?"

Gu Xijiu felt a warmth in her heart. However, she seemed to giggle all of a sudden. It would appear that he regarded her to be as fragile as a piece of paper. In actuality, Zhu Duqing did not touch her at all. So why would she have been hurt?
