Chapter 2461: The Inducement (2)
As the creature’s teeth were still sunk into Yun Yanli’s skin when he was pushed across the water, it made the wound worse and caused blood to ooze out of his hand, staining the surrounding water burgundy.
Yun Yanli found himself poisoned, and the pain was ten times greater than any form of external cut that Yun Yanli had ever suffered. He could not help but shiver in cold sweats. Thinking on his feet, he quickly used his spiritual power to drive out the toxins in his body. Meanwhile, he quickly tried to spot the squid man.
The man was severely wounded by the strike and lay floating in the water. He seemed to be coughing uncontrollably. The creature intended to run but fell right into the trap that Yun Yanli had prepared for him. The creature found itself caught in a tight net, which left him with no space to even shift his body. It decided to stop struggling. "Yun Yanli, were you a fisherman in your previous life? Where did you learn to make so many nets?"
Yun Yanli ignored him completely. He only focused on driving the toxins out of his body. He had brought many pills with him, and some of which were really effective antitoxins. Although he consumed the appropriate pills shortly after being poisoned, the wound was still excruciating.
Hence, he continued to squeeze the purple blood out of his hand until he saw that his blood was finally cleansed- the blood returned to its usual red tone. He then dressed the wound before dragging the net to the surface of the water.
The man looked delicate but was unusually heavy. After swimming for a while, Yun Yanli’s arms started to turn sore. In fact, he suffered from minor blackouts due to exhaustion. Carrying the man to the surface was as if dragging a mountain. It was unusually tiring.
How could the man be so heavy?
