It was a rather cloudy day. From a distance, the setting sun was already at the edge of the horizon. The carriage swept through the clouds, along with two of Di Fuyi’s men.
Yun Yanli was still kneeling in front of his carriage and watched helplessly as the carriage went into the distance. There was not a word that he could say to stop the carriage. It was a golden chance that he had unfortunately missed. His indecisive manner had cost him dearly this time.
Everything that happened was not part of Yun Yanli’s plan. He was still stunned by what had happened and was not able to calm his mind. He knew that Shen Jiuli was once in the Shura World many years ago. But what was the man doing here now?
He started to panic as he believed that the Divine Lord would soon find out about all the mess that he had caused in the Shura World. All of his work over the past centuries could be ruined at once. His palms were cold and sweaty, as he clenched his fists tightly in frustration.
"Why did you stop?" Zhu Duqing had yet to realized what happened. He came out from his carriage, seemingly half asleep. He looked at the sky in utter confusion and asked, "How far are we from Leguo City? The sun is about to set."
Yun Yanli looked annoyed at him. He was not quite fond of Mr. Zhu, apparently. He initiated some small talk with Mr. Zhu in hopes of getting some information out of the man, but Mr. Zhu quietly disregarded his presence.
"Stupid!" Yun Yanli was certainly irritated. "They have just left. Do you still want to come with me to Leguo City?" Yun Yanli was starting to get impolite with his guest.
Zhu Duqing was not expecting the answer he received. "What? Have they left? When did that happen? Why didn’t anyone tell me about it?" He sounded like a puppy who had just been abandoned.
