Chapter 2324: She Had Never Spoken Of Him
Di Fuyi carried him and examined the quality of his soul right away. The result showed that the baby was genuinely just a little infant. His body was not possessed by some other old, wicked spirit.
"Little one, you know a lot of things." Di Fuyi then put him on the bed and pinned him down with one hand. With his other hand, he proceeded to place some pressure on his acupuncture points. "Come, let us talk. What else do you know?" He interrogated with a sarcastic smile.
The baby struggled under his grasp. Quietly, he pursed his lips into a thin line and said nothing. The baby acted very innocently and gazed at him with his big, bright eyes as if saying that he was only a baby who knew nothing. He was not going to tolerate any threats. If he had to, he would cry out loud.
Di Fuyi tried to think of a better way to confront the baby, but it was a problem he could not solve. He ended up ignoring the baby entirely and enjoyed his wine alone.
The baby continued to observe him for a brief period. After a while, he recited a poem, "Your discontentment will not be worked off by drinking." He then added, "No amount of drinks will get you her heart."
Di Fuyi’s hand trembled at his surprising remark; he almost spilled his wine. Before Di Fuyi moved, the baby quickly added, "Please do not seal away my verbal acupuncture point. I will now keep quiet."
Soon, he continued with another well-thought question, "Aren’t you going to save my mother? She is probably waiting for you."
