The minority that possessed some degree of spiritual power had to venture outside and hunt for the precious spiritual stones in order to exchange them for the living necessities.
Needless to say, most people out there were living in an abyss of suffering. It was beyond her expectation that the Devil Kingdom would be a piece of pure land, where people could live happily in their comfortable homes.
There were many people in the streets. Some were walking while others were riding on their horses. Streams of people were coming and going. Indeed, it was a lively place. The way they dressed was not very different from the outside world. Some people tended to dress modestly, and some chose to let their elegant side out.
There was a difference in their expression, though. They seemed at ease, indifferent to fame, or gain. People dressed in many different styles, but Gu Xijiu was the only one wearing the Devil Quenching Clothing among the busy crowds.
