Ye Ling got up and went to the backyard. Compared to the luxurious front yard, the style of the backyard was simple but elegant. The small building in the backyard was made with bricks. Along the pathway, there were green bamboos and a pavilion. There was a faint scent of herbs in the air.
Two maids stood in front of the building. When they saw Ye Ling approaching, they bowed. "City Governor."
Ye Ling nodded briefly in return. He pushed the door open and went into the building. Inside the building, there were dark purple curtains. Behind the purple curtains, he saw a woman dressed in white sitting on the bed.

The white-dressed woman looked at him coldly and did not speak.
She had a sort of cold temperament, which was mysterious and scary. Ye Ling did not dare to make a sound. Instead, he tried to smile. "What happened? Are you calling me here just to see me?"
"Shuaaa!" The sleeves of the woman suddenly flew over and hit Ye Ling on the face. It was as if he got a massive slap!
The woman finally said, "Ye Ling, you seem to have forgotten your identity!"
Ye Ling paused, raised his hand, and touched his cheek. "Ah Luo, I definitely remember my identity." He sounded like a young kid who was speaking to his parents with respect.
