Chapter 2110: I Am Your Fiancé (5)
The weather was scorching, enough to make Di Fuyi grumpy. The air was so dry; it was hard even very to breathe. Di Fuyi was still unfamiliar with the climate here. He tried to sense the surroundings, only to realize there was no spiritual aura present.
As far as he was concerned, every place would undoubtedly be filled with a certain level of spiritual energy. It was only a matter of intensity, but this place offered no spiritual aura at all. It was, indeed, a horrible place.
Di Fuyi was disturbed but was not really concerned. With her by his side, everything else was not a problem anymore.
While in a daze, a loud growling noise could be heard from afar. It was loud enough to cause the ground to tremor.
"We have to leave now! Go!" Someone shouted out loud. Everybody else started to move very quickly. Gu Xijiu picked up her speed, only to realize that Di Fuyi was still strolling behind. A plume of black smoke started to emerge not too far behind him. Soon, the smoke began to form a distorted shape.
She swiftly teleported to his side and grabbed his arm. She had to teleport him away from the smoke formation. "Are you trying to kill yourself? Let’s go!"
He finally recovered from his thoughts and caught up with her. "What is it?"
"Look behind!"
Di Fuyi turned around and was astonished by the sight. The rocks behind him started to release large plumes of black smokes. The smoke formed fluffs of strange clouds in ghostly shapes. They spread swiftly in all directions.
’What was that?’ Di Fuyi held the handle of his sword tightly.
