Gu Xijiu provided enough details to ensure that her story was clear and informative. She used a very plain tone with no decorative language to make sure her message was direct. However, it had created a wave of turmoil in Di Fuyi’s heart.
The tea was getting colder, and the falling flowers outside the pavilion had covered the ground where they sat. The flowers fell on Gu Xijiu’s robe, her hair, and even her feet.
