Gu Xijiu had initially planned to withdraw the bats. However, she hesitated now and was not sure what to do. There was a mixture of joy and disappointment in her eyes. At least she knew that the child was the true master of heavenly law.
The golden ray from Little Nianmo’s body managed to scare the eerie bats away. The light hit some of the bats and fell onto the floor with a piercing shriek. After twitching in exasperation, they died.

He saw how powerful the golden ray actually was, so he tried to feel the power in his body. However, the power soon disappeared, leaving no traces behind.
He peeped and saw the mysterious black man on the tree whilst he was fighting. Driven by frustration, he clenched his fists tightly. Another trick!
The mysterious man’s fingers started to move, so he assumed that he or she must be ready to perform another spell. Little Nianmo quickly turned and broke through the heavy encirclement of bats, launching his body upward like a bullet towards the direction of the mysterious man.
He went full force, so he was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, he was right in front of the mysterious man. Gu Xijiu was unguarded, but her extraordinary level of Kung Fu allowed her to turn swiftly away and avoid the impact.
While she was moving away from her spot, she noticed that there was a huge tree right behind her. She could easily avoid the impact, but if she did, he would bump his head straight into the tree instead.
If he hit the tree, he would probably be severely injured, if not half dead. Therefore, Gu Xijiu raised her arms and held Little Nianmo back at his waist to stop him from lunging forward.
