Chapter 1879: It’s Good To Be Married
The child looked between four to five years old with a light golden robe which changed colors under the sunlight. He had a pair of big eyes with long lashes and pouty lips. He was carrying a flower basket while walking slowly as he threw some petals to the crowd. Behind him was a line of little girls in their white dress and another line of little boys in light blue robes.
All these kids looked very lovely, but all of them together could not beat the one with the light golden robe! The little boy was smiling as he walked toward the newly-wed couple; he was not nervous at all though so many pairs of eyes watched him.
Gu Xijiu’s heart suddenly skipped a beat as she looked at the little boy. She had an illusion then and there. A couple was stuck in a small gap; hence, the man suddenly shrunk and the lady managed to escape as she carried him.
The lady let go of the man and realized he has turned into a little boy who was less than a meter in height.
The lady left after a short while but turned back again after taking a few steps. Shockingly, the little boy was growing at a rapid pace, and he smiled embarrassingly with two dimples on his cheeks when he noticed that the lady was looking at him.
In the blink of an eye, all the images almost disappeared instantly. Interestingly enough, Gu Xijiu realized the little boy she saw in the illusion looked exactly the same as the flower boy down there!
She felt her heart sink. She looked at the little boy again and realized he had a bouquet in his hand. He slowly delivered it to the bride and said, "Happy wedding mom! And, Happy Birthday!"
Gu Xijiu was stunned. She finally understood that the little boy was the legendary child of a deity and a devil, Shen Nianmo.
