Chapter 1849: A Relationship
The crowd looked up upon hearing the voice and saw a person on horseback flying over from afar. Gu Xijiu’s heart pounded in her chest. The horse was as white as snow, and even its saddle was white. As its wings flapped, the clouds were stirred. It carried an auspicious light around it.
The person was in a golden hat and a purple robe. The purple robe was stunning, like a floating purple cloud. The person came with haste, and in a few glimpses, arrived at the field. The person jumped down swiftly from the horse and stood right in front of Gu Xijiu.
The Firmament Stone gasped by Gu Xijiu’s ears. "What a handsome man! Master! Master!"
That person was, in fact, extremely handsome. All his features were outstanding which made him the sweetest eye-candy and within his elegance was a trace of royalty.
As Gu Xijiu caught sight of the purple robe, her heart jumped! She was stunned. Her gaze was fixed on the person’s face for at least two seconds. The people around her kneeled again, and from their greetings, Gu Xijiu knew that the person standing before her was the youngest son of the Emperor Immortal, also known as Yun Yanli.
Emperor Immortal had two sons. The eldest had married and was the prince everyone was talking about. And the youngest son was Yun Yanli, who was unmarried and uninterested in power. He had successfully trained himself into a fairy of golden standard.
The Firmament Stone told all of the above to Gu Xijiu. Gu Xijiu fell into stunned silence for a moment. When she regained her consciousness, she asked the Firmament Stone, "How do you know such things in heaven?"
Firmament Stone did not know how to answer! It did not dare to tell her that it was the mysterious voice which told it about it. However, it had to answer something in order to prevent suspicion from Gu Xijiu. "I am, after all, the omniscient Firmament Stone..."
