Gu Xijiu never thought that the bracelet would produce such a weird sound. As the loud noise resonated within her ears, blackness flashed across her eyes momentarily. As the dizziness faded out, she looked at the bracelet on her wrist. To her dismay, the bracelet was not damaged at all! It was stronger than diamonds!

Gu Xijiu was fascinated by its strength and was also wondering why she used to treat it so gently before.

"How could a symbol of marriage blessed by God be so easily destroyed?" Di Fuyi, who was at her side, said. "Don’t try again; your efforts will go in vain."

He took a step forward and held her wrist. "Jingke, stop being so stubborn. This is not an engagement that was easy to come by..."

Gu Xijiu was disgusted and immediately snatched her wrist away from his grip as if disposing of a housefly that acted like a nuisance. Di Fuyi’s fingers stayed momentarily in the air before he gradually pulled them back to his side.

Gu Xijiu was looking at the bracelet on her wrist, apparently trying to get that thing off herself.

Di Fuyi spoke indifferently, "There is no need to try. Unless we get divorced officially or I die, this bracelet will not come off. Even if you break this wrist of yours, it will attach itself again onto your other hand. Unless you do not mind being limbless..."

Was he trying to use this annoying bracelet to control her? He was delusional! "Let us get divorced then!" Gu Xijiu said without hesitation.
