Fortunately, Lan Jingke explained to him that she merely treated him as a friend. Once she had crossed the hurdle and successfully inherited the throne, she would immediately cancel their engagement. After all, she had saved him before, and so Di Fuyi felt indebted to her. Therefore, he immediately agreed to help her.
