Chapter 1169: Wedding

"Miss Gu, today is your wedding day with The Great Lord. You have to wake up to prepare in advance. Please, wake up. It’s time to get up."
Four servants had shown up inside Gu Xijiu’s bedroom. They had brought along the crown and gown to help Gu Xijiu dress up. However, Gu Xijiu had been sleeping very soundly and could not be awakened regardless of how they called her name.
The four servants looked at each other and wondered what was wrong with Miss Gu. Had she fainted?
They had no idea, and so they quickly sent someone to go and invite Elder Long.

The four servants were slightly stunned. According to their tradition, the bride was not supposed to be seen by the groom until she was dressed up. However, since The Great Lord had arrived, they did not dare to comment.
Both of them stood beside the bed and saw that Gu Xijiu was sleeping. Her face was blushed, and her breathing was calm. It seemed like she was in a deep sleep.
Mo Zhao glanced at Long Fan just as he was about to raise his hand to shake her, and so he took a step back and left the area.
Mo Zhao frowned as he had called her name twice, but she did not respond. He held her hand and was about to use his spiritual power to wake her up. Unexpectedly, before his spiritual power was channeled, Gu Xijiu’s body moved slightly and finally, she opened her eyes. Thankfully, she had finally woken up! All the maids were relieved.
