Chapter 531: The Lord’s Grace
Gu Xijiu could not speak those thoughts in her mind. She just received the clothes from The Lord and put it on somewhere in the distance.
It was a light blue dress which was soft and smooth. Gu Xijiu did not know the exact material, but she felt comfortable as she put it on. The dress would flutter when the wind blew, much like Di Fuyi’s sleeves. More interestingly, Gu Xijiu realized that the aching feeling in her body was significantly reduced, as were the bruises on her body which faded after she donned the dress. She felt great now!
The only flaw of the dress was its oversized cutting, as it could not help to reveal her slim body figure. She had suffered a lot in the last few days - she was put in jail and almost killed in many attacks. She was exhausted and became skinnier than before. Her waist shrank. Fortunately, her bust was still well maintained.
Although the dress given to Gu Xijiu by The Lord was beautiful, it was not as good as her black outfit which made her looked nicer. Nonetheless, an oversized dress was not a big deal as she could still tie a strap around her waist.

It was a breezy evening, and the green grass was swaying. The water was flowing into the brook, and the butterflies were dancing in the air.
Gu Xijiu was walking side by side together with The Lord. An hour had passed, but The Lord still had not mentioned anything. He did not even say a single word but continued walking.
Gu Xijiu felt like she was reliving a movie scene of young couples in the 70’s having small talk on the street pacing back and forth the entire evening. But in this case, The Lord was much older than her; this would be like walking with her grandpa!
