Chapter 214 - 212. A new employee
"W-What the hell is going on here...?" Asher muttered, blinking in disbelief at the long queue of women outside Lick & Stick Enterprises. They were practically clawing at each other to get in. Banji and Kelly were doing their best to hold the line back, but with so many pompous women elbowing their way forward, it was like trying to dam a river with a broom.
"Sell me the penises I’ve heard so much about!!." One woman shouted, hair wild and fists clenched. "I’ll pay double!"
"No! I’ll pay triple!!" another shouted over her.
And just like that, chaos erupted. Noble ladies, who usually demanded to be treated like royalty, snapped at commoners, ordering them to grovel. Only ten dildos were left. The green ones—everyone’s favorite, apparently were already sold out. But the crowd wanting to buy were more than fifty.
Asher stared at the scene, hands on hips, looking as if he’d just walked into a tornado made of hormones and entitlement. Sure, he knew women in this world wee sexually frustrated, but this? This was worse. A war for dildos!
Just as the shouting reached a pitch that threatened to shatter glass, someone stepped forward from the crowd, positioning herself between Banji, Kelly, and the raging mob.
"Everyone, get in line before I freeze all your asses solid! We don’t tolerate violence on the premises of this shop!"
She yanked down her hood, her blue hair spilling out like moonlight.
The crowd gasped in unison.
"It’s the Ice Queen!"
