Chapter 208. Supplier
Sharon leaned in, eyes glinting with mischief. "Wanna know how my day went? Well, brace yourself... I spent the whole day with Four Eyes."
Asher raised an eyebrow. "Adrian?"
She nodded with a grin. "Yep! We met at a restaurant, and get this—people actually thought we were a couple! Can you believe that?" She laughed, then her tone shifted slightly. "After lunch, we took a stroll through the park. That’s when those bitches l hate so much showed up..."
Asher groaned. "Don’t tell me—Brittany and her lackeys?"
Sharon’s eyes narrowed. "Ugh, yes. The Mean Girl Trinity. But don’t worry, I wasn’t intimidated. I was walking right next to one of the top three strongest first-years! Adrian stood tall and told them he’d summon his smoke monster to rip them apart if they tried anything. You should’ve seen their faces!" She burst into giggles, covering her mouth with both hands.
Asher growled. "Smoke monster? Since when did Four Eyes start acting like a big shot?"
By smoke monster, he must’ve meant Tama...
Sharon laughed even harder. "Well, I did also mention my scary brother who singlehandedly kicked Lorraine’s overconfident ass. That really sent them running. When Brittany yelled for them to attack, her goons looked like terrified deer and bolted. I swear, it was golden!"
Asher sighed, rubbing his temples. "Glad you had fun. " He got up. "I’m beat. I need to get a rest."
Before he could walk off, his mother gently grabbed his wrist. "Sweetie, you must’ve pushed yourself too hard. Want me to massage your shoulders?"
He shook his head. "No thanks, I’m fine."
