Chapter 201. Prayers
After introducing Ivy to my realm and telling her everything about it, she was visibly stunned. That’s when she finally started believing what I told her last time when mom and her didn’t believe me that Banji’s wine shop is actually mine. Her interest quickly shifted to the fruits in my realm, and as a merchant herself, she was eager to get some to sell at her shop.
Having someone like Ivy sell my products would be a great way to help the people of this world get used to my fruits. A lot of them are still hesitant to try things they’ve never heard of before.
And even though Ivy and I are sex partners, I made it clear that these fruits won’t come for free. If she wanted them, I’d gladly sell them to her in bulk. But she’d have to visit our shop so we could discuss the terms with my business partners.
With that settled, we began walking deeper into my realm, venturing into parts of the forest I hadn’t even explored before myself. There was something soft beneath Ivy’s edge that l was shocked to discover. A quiet vulnerability she rarely showed. She loved flowers. I hadn’t known that—hadn’t expected the way her face lit up when she saw a thicket of roses blooming wild beside the path. She darted toward them, burying her face in their petals, breathing deeply like she wanted to drink the moment.
We walked hand in hand, savoring each other’s company. As agreed, this would be the last day of our relationship, marking the transition into something new—a respectful bond between a future mother-in-law and son-in-law.
For some reason, everything felt brighter today. The sun felt warmer, the view more beautiful. Birds chirped in rhythm with our steps. Even the artificial clouds hanging in the ocean-blue sky looked real.
After about an hour, we reached a spot that felt just right. A natural clearing, free of trees but surrounded by them like sentinels. Secluded, and peaceful
Ivy breathed in, her eyes wide. "This place is breathtaking... you’re incredible, master."
I smiled and pulled a tent from my inventory. "Aren’t you giving me a little too much credit?"
