Chapter 154. When the mixer starts turning into a mini orgy!
Standing up, Lorraine walked slowly to the other side of the table, her legs shaky as she stood before Asher. Her knees nearly gave out. With a trembling breath, she climbed onto his lap, one leg at a time. Her thighs pressed against his, her barely-covered breasts just inches from his face. The moment she settled on top of him, she gasped softly—feeling something poke against her backside. A tremble passed through her entire body as she realized exactly what that was
Trying to ignore it to ease the tension, she moved her hands slowly—one resting against his chest, the other brushing gently along his jaw. She was so close now she could smell the faint blend of his cologne and the alcohol they’d been drinking. Her cheeks burned. Her breath hitched.
Asher didn’t move, just sat there, feeling her tremble on top of him. She couldn’t even look him in the eye anymore.
"I..." she whispered, her lips quivering just above his. "I’ve never..."
Her voice cracked.
Asher tilted his head slightly, his lips grazing hers, but not kissing yet. "You don’t have to rush it. Take your time."
He could tell—this was her first time.
But his gentleness only made it worse. Lorraine’s heart pounded violently in her chest, the tension unbearable. Her fingers clutched his shirt, eyes fluttering shut, her breath now mingling with his.
Still, one ridiculous thought wormed its way into her mind—what if his mouth still tastes like that weird meat from earlier?
She grimaced inwardly, but even that wasn’t enough to kill the moment.
She leaned in anyway, gathering everything she had, and pressed her lips to his in a soft, shy kiss. It felt like her whole world stilled for that one moment. Her stomach flipped. Her thighs clenched. Her chest pressed tighter against his as instinct took over.
