Chapter 120. Dealing with bullies!
(Third Person POV)
Twirling her long black hair with her fingers, Sharon sat in class, her mind far from the lesson. She couldn’t stop thinking about her brother. It had been three days since he’d last been home. The weekend was over, and he was supposed to return in time for school, but there was still no sign of him.
Knowing how reckless Asher could be sometimes, she couldn’t help but worry. What if he’d wandered into a dangerous dungeon and gotten himself into trouble?
Her thoughts were abruptly shattered when something smacked her in the face. A board duster. Chalk dust exploded across her uniform.
She looked up. It was her teacher.
"Eyes on the board, Miss Sharon!" the teacher snapped, hands planted on her hips.
The class erupted with laughter.
Then came Brittany—a noble girl from a wealthy family, known for using all sorts of face products to try and look cute. In Sharon’s honest opinion, none of it worked. Still, with curves that drew attention, Brittany’s less-than-impressive face was often overlooked. She grinned and banged her desk.
"Forget about Sharon, ma’am. Maybe she’s waiting for puberty to finally hit. Poor thing’s been stuck on pause."
The class roared again. Another voice chimed in from across the room.
"Don’t be too hard on her, teacher. It’s hard to focus when you’re built like a ten-year-old boy. Maybe she’s just calculating how many years it’ll take to catch up to the rest of us."
