Chapter 17. Breaking the rules of magic!
I'm proud to say I was stingy in my old life, and I have no intention of letting go of that habit now.
Spending 200 or more points on a single spell? That's insane. If possible, I'd rather keep it under 50 per spell.
Starting with fire magic.
I'd been thinking about this ever since I started using magic. Unlike others who rely on mana and the goddess's blessing, I use my imagination fueled by my Pleasure Points—or at least, that's what my system told me.
But I refuse to be bound by that logic!
Imagining a fireball forming in my palm drains way too many points. So instead, I decided to take a different approach, using all the knowledge from my previous world.
Fire needs oxygen to burn. Instead of conjuring a massive fireball outright, I created a tiny flame and pulled in all the oxygen around me into my palm.
The result was absolutely spectacular.
Boom!
A deafening explosion erupted as I blasted a massive fireball into the sky. It was HUGE!
Ivy's reaction was priceless. Her eyes were wide open, her jaw slack, and I swear I could hear her teeth clattering in disbelief.
