Ye Duowei was so furious that she nearly ground her molars to dust. Why had Li Si become so difficult? She didn’t dare tell her uncle; her family business was practically on the brink of bankruptcy. If it weren’t for her father’s foresight and her own efforts in getting pregnant and married, there was no way the Yan Family would have stepped in to lend a hand.
If the truth about Li Si being her aunt’s daughter came out, the Yan Family would certainly not forgive so easily. At that point, whether her aunt’s marriage could survive would be questionable.
Still, she couldn’t resign herself to it. Stubbornly, she said, "Of course I’ll tell him! Just you wait! Wait for the day you’re kicked out of the Leng Family!"
"Sure, I’m looking forward to you doing that! Don’t disappoint me, okay?" Li Si said, and after pulling Bai Shasha along, she gave Ye Duowei a cold, disdainful glance before leaving abruptly.
Ye Duowei’s chest heaved with rage. Yin Xian, seeing Li Si and Bai Shasha leave, quickly stepped forward to support her. He sighed inwardly but spoke softly to comfort her: "Weiwei, let’s go. Other people’s affairs—better to stay out of them."

Ye Duowei shot him a glare and said, "What do you mean ’other people’s affairs’? That’s my aunt and my mom, who’s endured such unfair treatment. As her daughter, how could I just let it slide?"
"But Mom’s grievances weren’t caused by Li Si! What’s it got to do with her?" Yin Xian didn’t know all the specifics since he wasn’t there, but he was aware that Tian Yaru had been the first to instigate a fight against the other party.
Ye Duowei grew both angry and anxious. "How is it not related to her? Those are her family members. If I don’t go after her, who else should I go after?"
Yin Xian was speechless. Seeing her pale complexion, he decided it was best not to argue further. "Alright, alright. Let’s just go home. Your face doesn’t look good."
Ye Duowei also realized she wasn’t feeling well. Her earlier rage had taken a toll, and if it affected the baby, things would be disastrous. So, she reluctantly agreed and headed home with Yin Xian.
Meanwhile, Li Si and Bai Shasha walked out of the mall and found a Korean restaurant to have lunch. Thanks to Ye Duowei’s theatrics earlier, neither of them felt like shopping anymore.
