"Buy it? Did you get my consent? The property deed is still with me! You all better leave now! Otherwise, I’ll call the police!" Li Si sneered coldly. How could it be considered sold without completing the deed transfer? Thankfully, she placed the deed in her personal safe space; otherwise, things would truly be unclear now!
Zhang Meihua exploded upon hearing this, "You little brat! Calling the police, huh? I’ve got plenty to say to them! I’ll tell them this house was purchased by my brother! Li Si calmed herself down, vastly different from her earlier state of agitation when she first came home to find the place emptied. Now, everything was different. She was no longer the timid girl of her previous life. Holding the moral high ground now, she argued logically and methodically.
"What? Impossible! Stop spouting nonsense here. Brother, just carry on with your work—don’t fall for her gibberish!" Li Si casually took out her phone and began dialing 110 directly. Zhang Meihua nervously eyed her movements and sprang forward as soon as she realized Li Si really was calling 110, wrestling the phone away from her.
"What are you doing? You’re actually calling the police?" Zhang Meihua was starting to panic now. If the cops came and caused a big commotion, what would they do?
"Why wouldn’t I? Let’s blow this matter wide open and see how your reputation holds up afterward! Trying to snatch up the remaining property of your late brother? Let me help you all make your names known far and wide!" Li Si pushed her forcefully, sending Zhang Meihua tumbling into a seated position.
