Chapter 82 - 79 Dismissal
Leng Mochen had just returned from outside when he learned about the general situation from Sister Tao after a few people had already left. He picked up the phone and called Old Cui, ordering him to immediately dismiss Zhou Rou and Li Guozhi!
He knocked on the door and entered Li Si’s room. She hadn’t gone to sleep yet and was playing on her computer at her desk.
"Why are you still up so late?" Leng Mochen asked indulgently, stroking the top of her head.
"Brother, can you stop messing with my hair? It’s all messy now!" Li Si felt that Leng Mochen was acting like a weird uncle. She hadn’t noticed it before, but recently, he had started to frequently touch her beloved hair.
"How is it messy? Looks like you’re alright!" He observed her from head to toe and, apart from a red mark on her neck—probably from a scratch—her exposed skin seemed fine.
Li Si raised her head proudly: "Well, of course! The three of us fought one person, how could we get injured? That would be way too weak!" Although fighting one against three wasn’t something to boast about, she still found it rather satisfying. Perhaps, deep down, she had a violent streak?
"Kid, I had Old Cui dismiss Zhou Rou and your aunt!"
"Okay, it’s fine. Zhou Rou can be dismissed, but Aunt has had it hard. Maybe we shouldn’t do this to her!" Li Si’s voice became softer as she spoke, but Leng Mochen’s gaze turned icy.
"Kid, do you know what your biggest flaw is?"
"I don’t know!" Li Si shook her head. She had many flaws, but she truly didn’t know which one was the biggest.
