Chapter 7 - 5: Buying a House
Beijing is the capital of Huaxia Country, a place that many people aspire to visit.
I remember hearing a joke before: You don't know you're timid until you go to the Northeast, you don't realize your drinking limit until you go to the Northwest, you don't know you're too naive until you go to Shanghai, you don't know you're unattractive until you go to Hangzhou, you don't realize your stomach isn't great until you go to Guangdong, you don't know your wallet's thin until you go to Shenzhen, you don't know you got married too early until you go to Chongqing, you don't know your health is poor until you go to Hainan, you don't experience true socialism until you go to Tianjin, and it's only upon arriving in Beijing that you realize how small your influence is!!
Li Si was a bit excited and thrilled, took a taxi to find a business hotel to stay. She planned to start looking for a house the next day and hopefully also take a good tour of Beijing.

The owner was eager to go abroad, so the property urgently listed for sale at 4,200 RMB per square meter, only costing 360,000, with all furniture and appliances included and all fees covered. This meant she could move in with just her luggage. It was also Li Si's luck that she happened to catch this deal.
Li Si hid her excited expression and calmly decided, "I'll take this one then, let's see when the owner is available to transfer ownership and payment?"
