Liam tried to make Jason let Millicent go, but Jason’s eyes narrowed.
"She’s not going anywhere until she answers my fucking question."
Millicent groaned while trying to pry Jason’s hand off her neck!
"Cough! Cough! I... I don’t know what you’re talking about!"
"Like hell you don’t. I don’t think you understand how badly I want to rip you apart right now. Is this secret really worth your life?"
Jason’s hands tightened again, and Millicent cried out in agony as she felt something crack in her neck! At that moment, Jason was just trying to use intimidation to make Millicent tell him what he wanted to know. Jason knew that he couldn’t kill her while they were outside a gate like this. If they were in a Gate, then Jasn wouldn’t have to worry about repercussions, but now that they were outside, killing her would not only make Jason a criminal in the eyes of the law, but it would also make the news reach his mother. Mira would have a fucking heart attack if she heard that Jason killed someone!
