Chapter 154: Group Dive

"Alright, Darren, focus your fire on any beast that breaks off from the pack and keep them in front of us. Henry, use your water to handle the monsters far away."

Jason gave his orders and he began walking forward without bothering to know if they would listen or not, but the other two quickly fell in line as they drew on their gifts. Darren arranged his drones in a straight line and he began ordering them to fire quick blasts that tore through the air and struck true against the monsters!

Twoom! Twom! Twoom!

Each blast was a red outline of pure energy and the spider-monkeys could barely react before they were assaulted mercilessly! Each blast was enough to kill a D rank and cause serious damage to a low-level C rank, but the monsters here were around C rank, so it only caused limited damage to them! But that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt them!

Each laser blast caused enough pain in the monsters that forced them away from their position and made them head back towards the rest of the group to them from circling the superhumans!

Henry drew on the water in his bottles and they surged to his side like miniature tidal waves! He spread his arms and divided the water into hundreds of smaller particles before he squeezed his hands into fists and forced the water to freeze into icicles! The icicles had sharpened edges and Henry didn’t hesitate to thrust them forward to attack the spidermonkeys that were further away!

Woosh!

The icicles flew forward like bullets and since Henry was a C rank as well, his ability was more than enough to hurt them! The icicles dug into the skins of the spidermonkeys and they all cried out in pain as they suffered serious injuries!

The spidermonkeys in front of the pack kept running forward without bothering to look back and see what was happening, but they were stopped in their tracks as they saw Jason heading for them with one hand in his pocket. Jason had a bored and nonchalant expression on his face, and it looked like he was about to do his taxes rather than fight in a Red Gate!

The spidermonkeys recognized the nonchalance in Jason’s eyes and they saw it as a form of mockery! The monsters weren’t smart enough to recognize how outmatched they were, so they screamed in anger before charging him!

Slash!
