Chapter 115: The Greatest Treasure
Jared took in deep breaths to try and calm himself, and he watched as Jason put his hands in his pockets with a calm sigh. Almost like this was just a waste of time to him and he was tired of dealing with children! Another shot of anger flew through Jared, and he was about to step forward, but a voice came from behind them.
"Tch, this is stupid. Let’s just go."
It was Fiona who spoke, and Jared turned to give her a hard look. Fiona frowned back at him as she started to walk away. Fiona could tell that Jared was pissed that she interrupted him, but she didn’t care. She had felt the intense mana that Jason had and she knew that there was no version of this fight where Jared came out as the winner. They were all just going to get their asses handed to them!
"If you want to fight here, then fine. But I’m not going to get into trouble with the teachers just ’cause you want to start a dick-measuring contest. You boys are always so stupid."
Fiona disappeared down the hall, and Jared clicked his tongue before he shoved his lackeys to the side and told them to start walking.
"This isn’t over."
Jared spat to the side in irritation before he and his lackeys left Jason and Darren alone in the hallway. Once they were gone, Jason turned around to try and leave, but he was stopped when he felt someone grab his shoulder from behind. Jason turned around with a raised brow, and he leaned back in shock when Darren suddenly came very close to him.
What the fuck!?
"Thank you very much for saving me, boss! I really thought I would be a goner when Jared saw me outside class. Talk about a failed mission. I was going to sneak into the east locker room to discover treasure, but my plan was foiled."
