Hours had passed, and Lilia and Mira were nearly done with their self-care routine. The last thing left was their pedicure, which was already halfway done and set to finish in just a few minutes. A smile lingered on Lilia’s lips as Mira spoke.
"It seems I’ll be heading straight to pick up little Tommy," she said.
Lilia turned to her with a warm smile. "I’ll join you."
Mira returned the gesture, her voice gentle. "Of course."
Minutes passed after everything was settled and the dues were finally paid. Now, as they headed back to the car, they stepped into the elevator. As it began to move, Mira smiled softly and said, "I can’t wait to see the look on Tommy’s face when he sees Miss Beauty."
Lilia chuckled, surprised. "So... he still calls me that? Really?"
Mira nodded, her eyes twinkling. "Yes, he does."
Lilia laughed softly just as the elevator pinged. They stepped out and made their way to the car. Once seated, the vehicle pulled out smoothly onto the road.
"Just to be sure," Lilia asked, glancing over at Mira, "we’re heading to Tommy’s school, right?"
Mira nodded. "Yes, we are. I’ve already texted my chauffeur. He’ll be there when we arrive. Once Tommy sees you, we’ll head straight home, and you can go back to the mansion. It works best for everyone, right?"
Lilia smiled. "Of course. That’s a great plan."
