Zethan’s lips curved up in surprise as he simply stared at Lilia. He hadn’t even expected those words—not to mention the fact that she did it while licking his earlobe. That alone was enough to shock him. His body stiffened slightly, and he turned his head to the side, clearing his throat.

Lilia’s eyes widened as she stared at his upper ear, which had turned slightly pink. So, this shameless man of hers could blush?

She giggled softly. "Hmm, I never knew my hubby could blush."

He looked away as he responded, "I am not blushing." His face remained straight. "I just feel a little under the weather."

Lilia burst into laughter, unable to hold it in. She kept laughing, clutching her sides, while Zethan simply watched her quietly—not because he was annoyed, but because her laughter just wouldn’t stop. He silently admired his beautiful wife.

Eventually, Lilia wiped away a tear from her eye—one of joy. Still laughing, she spoke with a teasing tone. "Seems you’re the one who’s actually bad at lying. I still have hope when it comes to you."

The truth was, when it came to her, Zethan’s brain cells didn’t seem to connect properly.

Finally, he said, "The tea party is over. Let’s go back to our room."

Lilia’s gaze slowly turned to him, her cheeks flushing.

"What’s on your mind, little Loris?" Zethan asked softly as he leaned in.

Lilia shook her head. "There’s nothing on my mind, you dirty-minded husband of mine."
