Chapter 102: Angelic Wave vs Clark Group (2)
In the VIP room of the Elemental Academy, Master Roy sat next to Thomas, watching the battle that would soon unfold before them.
No one else was in the room, as they were discussing important matters.
Master Roy glanced sideways at Thomas, who looked slightly pensive as he watched Elliot in the arena.
"Are you worried about killing the son of a Saint?" he asked.
Thomas finally snapped out of his daze and looked at him.
"Master, you must know the dangers of killing the son of a Saint who is presumed to be still alive," he said.
Master Roy nodded slightly, returning to where Elliot was standing.
"When a person reaches the rank of Saint, part of their soul becomes bound to that of their loved ones, allowing them always to know whether they are alive or dead. If they die, they will be alerted and will know exactly who killed them. And a saint can live for a very long time. Their revenge is also unpredictable. Who can predict a Saint?" Master Roy, though he didn’t show it, was also concerned about this.
After all, a saint is a saint—the second highest rank within the known Rank Scale. Only the Gods are above them, but they are so illusory and rare that there are only a couple on the entire continent, at most.
Therefore, the Saints here are like Gods capable of altering even the movement of the wind, the falling of rain, and even the position of mountains.
No one wants to face a Saint.
