Chapter 72: A fantastic strategy
They were on his arms, legs, feet, back, shoulders, chest, and a helmet with pointed weapons also materialized on his head. There was no way he could dodge it.
Elliot knew he was coming after him, so he even raised his legs on tiptoes to catch him off guard, even for a moment, and prevent his great speed and reaction time from avoiding such an attack.
If the Nurotaur wanted to touch him, he had to calculate between openings of less than 90 millimeters that remained after the weapons had been strangely welded into the suit.
But Elliot had greatly overestimated his own speed.
The Nurotaur avoided touching these sharp weapons at a ridiculous speed and touched exactly where he needed to, with the tip of his little fingernail.
His speed dispersed the poison, allowing Jenna and the griffin to see him.
"You almost got me," said the Nurotaur, surprised by his clever strategy.
Elliot looked at him for a few seconds and smiled softly. "No, I did get you." He replied slyly.
The Nurotaur was puzzled. "What do you mean?" he asked.
Elliot looked down at his body without turning or moving.
The Nurotaur followed his gaze and then saw a weapon sticking out of Elliot’s shoe. It came out when Elliot stood on tiptoe, and now it was touching the Nurotaur’s bull’s legs.
