Game World's Awakening

Chapter 61: Taking the risk

In any case, it was the only way he could think of to do it. The other option would be to run away and wait for Jenna to finish the fight, but that was almost impossible, if not impossible. How could he leave all the work to her?

He had to take a risk.

So, as he ran and dodged attacks, Elliot tried to feel the energy of attributes within him.

Red energy, green... blue. He discarded them all until he finally felt and saw that distinctive yellow energy.

Perhaps he was the only one who could do this, since he could perceive the colors of energy, so he was quickly able to select the energy he needed from within himself and separate it from the rest.

He didn’t need to move fast or have more strength; he just needed to hold on.

Using what he had learned recently about swordplay, Elliot began to feel the energy inside him materialize over his body.

The movement of his sword was smooth and controlled, and while he avoided the octopus’s attacks, he also took the opportunity to launch small, powerful strikes, which were not really intended to harm it, but simply to enhance the release of energy outward.

The problem was that he had to be careful because the diluted poison was falling all over the room and was being dragged back toward him by the tentacles, ready to be thrown again. There was no end to it, because this poison did not corrode the floor or walls, remaining intact as long as it did not touch skin.

This made it more difficult to achieve, and little by little, Elliot ran out of space, forcing his body to run slower and try to turn around quickly to run in the other direction.

In the distance, Jenna looked at him, confused. ’What is he doing?’ Thanks to her Dark Magic, she could afford to take her attention off the battle, but she was having a difficult time, even though she had a way to avoid the poison.
