Chapter 50: A powerful woman (2)
Because of that, Jenna neglected her fight, and the Orc took advantage of it. His sword flashed, and he attacked fiercely toward Jenna’s head, wanting to destroy her in a single strike.
This was such a fast attack, delivered from such close range, that the threat was felt across Jenna’s entire body. It forced her to twist her body to the side to dodge it quickly, but she wasn’t able to avoid it completely.
Her cheek was slightly grazed, and it ended up hitting her other shoulder, the impact between the bone and the sword sending her tumbling to the ground.
The orc followed closely behind, seeing that his attack had failed, and quickly attacked her with a vertical strike, but this was a mistake.
Jenna narrowly managed to dodge the attack, which she would not have been able to do if it had been a horizontal strike, given the position she had fallen into. This allowed her to strike back, hitting him on the bone of his left shoulder and sending him flying away from her.

Two powerful spells were heading towards her, both made of fire. She had discovered a pattern in these attacks.
Whenever two spells attacked her, they were identical—there had never been two different ones. That gave her clues, but she still couldn’t see it clearly; she needed to get closer again.
’I have to end this fight soon. I don’t know how Elliot is.’ Determined, she ran her left hand along her dark sword, and little by little, that hand filled with dark energy, just like her sword.
