Tong Airui raised an eyebrow slightly, "Let her in! Why not? Your fourth sister-in-law is the expert I invited."
As Tong Airui spoke, he got out of the car first, extended a hand to Yi Luowa, and said solemnly, "Expert Yi, please step out."
"Thank you, Captain Audrich." Yi Luowa reached out her hand, gracefully stepping out of the car.
Lin Zhanpeng suppressed his laughter and followed closely behind them into the office building.
Tong Airui’s office was on the seventh floor. When they stepped out of the elevator, the people in the corridor stopped and saluted Tong Airui.
Tong Airui returned their salutes coolly and led Yi Luowa straight into his own office.
Yi Luowa looked around. Tong Airui’s office was spacious, with two large rows of sofas. Holding a meeting with twenty or so people wouldn’t be a problem.
Walking on the white long-haired carpet, Yi Luowa’s gaze fell on the bookshelf behind his desk. An entire wall was occupied by white bookshelves. If someone were to read all of them, it would take at least twenty years.
"Captain Audrich, I’ve just noticed that you have a penchant for white," Yi Luowa teased with a smile, observing the white desk and chair.
"It’s not that I particularly like it. I was influenced by my dad. It just feels like nothing fits this room better than white." Tong Airui glanced at Lin Zhanpeng.
