Tong Airui glanced amusingly at Emperor Haotian. This big brother of his was quite something! It seemed none of the younger siblings were on his side.
Emperor Haotian frowned slightly upon hearing these four words.
"Randy, we owe Du Ma nothing anymore," the woman in Emperor Haotian’s arms spoke softly. "Summon Katie back and hand Du Ma over to Captain Aldrich to deal with."
Emperor Haotian’s gaze flickered; he seemed to hesitate.
Tong Airui shot Yuan Hang a meaningful look. Yuan Hang understood, took out a letter, and handed it to Emperor Haotian. Emperor Haotian gently set his wife down, opened the letter, and after only reading two lines, crumpled it into a ball. "Someone, come here!"
Emperor Haotian called for his attendant and ordered, "Urgently summon Princess Katie to halt the troops. If she does not cease fire within five minutes, she will bear the consequences."
After issuing his orders, Emperor Haotian scooped up his wife and stepped off the warship.
Tong Airui watched Emperor Haotian’s upright back and laughed softly, "A single word from his consort outweighs my legions. Turns out he’s a lovesick fool too!"
"A match for Your Highness!" Yuan Hang interjected, only to earn a sharp glare from Tong Airui. Yuan Hang coughed lightly. "Your Highness, should we also cease fire during these five minutes?"
"Why stop firing? You want to give them a breather?" Tong Airui shot him a scornful look. "I realize you came out with me this time without your brain!"
"Left it at home," Yuan Hang quipped with a grin. "I’ll go give the order then: increase firepower during these five minutes. Hit them hard!"
