Tong Airui quickly witnessed Yi Luowa's ability to change expressions. One moment she was smiling, and the next, her small face darkened.
"You shameless rogue! Who told you to lie on my bed?" Yi Luowa growled softly. She had already been misunderstood by Second Uncle and Aunt Li; if they found Tong Airui lying on her bed, it would be even harder to explain!
"You're my woman. Do I need anyone else's permission to lie on your bed?" Tong Airui stared at her steadily.
"I'm not your woman!" Yi Luowa sat up, raising her hand to push him off the bed, but thinking of his injuries, her hand froze mid-air before retreating. "My Second Uncle and Aunt Li already misunderstood me. Just leave, won't you? Consider that I'm begging you."
"Misunderstood what?" Tong Airui looked at her, clearly amused. "Second Uncle has already agreed to us being together. What's there to misunderstand?"
Yi Luowa irritably rubbed her forehead. Earlier, she had angrily confronted him about everything. Now, here he was lying beside her, and she found herself lacking the energy to stay mad.
"Second Uncle agreed with you, but I haven't agreed yet. Leave, please, just as a favor to me." Yi Luowa puffed her cheeks and looked at him with pleading eyes.
Tong Airui's gaze landed on her soft, pink lips. His Adam's apple shifted uncomfortably. "Not leaving! Yuan Hang told me you were looking for me. What's up?"
Yi Luowa pressed her lips together. "Second Uncle misunderstood us, thinking that we... you know. That's why he said what he did today. Tomorrow, you need to explain it to him."
