Half an hour later, Ye Chen arrived at the villa in his BMW sedan and slowly came to a stop at the gate.
"Thank you!" Lin Yaru opened her eyes and said as she pushed the door open and got out of the car, ready to walk toward the house.

Ye Chen frowned, recalling that he had changed Lin Yaru’s dressing last night before they went to sleep.
Confused, Ye Chen quickly got out of the car and asked, "Doctor Lin, what’s wrong? Did you injure your foot?"
